Horsham, Pa., April 23, 2020 ─ Inframark, LLC, is pleased to announce that the Town Council of Chatham, Va., has renewed the company’s contract to continue managing, operating, and maintaining its water treatment plant (WTP) and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The 10-year deal, effective April 1, also includes wastewater collection and drinking water distribution as well as other public works activities. Inframark has been operating the Town’s WWTP since 2017.
In addition to assuming responsibility for providing the staffing to perform the work, Inframark will purchase the Town’s Public Works equipment and assume responsibility for maintenance and replacement of the equipment, as needed. Inframark also will provide a number of capital improvements to the Town’s water and wastewater system.
“I believe the partnership with Inframark provides the Town with the expertise, experience, and personnel needed for the management of our community services, as well as improvements to our water and sewer delivery systems in the coming years,” said Councilman and Water/Sewer Committee Chairman Irvin Perry.
